The power socket or D.C jack socket on a laptop can become damaged, usually as a result of a knock or a fall. This can result in your laptop not being able to charge, or run, using the power adapter. If your laptop or netbook has no power indicators on at all, and appears completely dead even when plugged-in, we can test your laptop charger and advise as to whether a D.C socket repair is required.

The D.C socket is either incorporated into the motherboard or is located on a separate power circuit board. Your repair would be one of these two types.
