From our office in Winchester, A.J.Computers provide a local computer and laptop repair service in the Winchester and Southampton area.
We are Comptia and Microsoft qualified and have been fixing computers professionally since 2005.
A.J.Computers have a fast turnaround for computer repairs and try to provide an honest, straightforward and friendly service.

A computer service ensures your computer is secure, error free and performing at its best. We will recommend your system is serviced as the most cost effective way to clear faults and operating system problems. This is at a set charge of £55.00 and we include collection and delivery of your computer in this price (within the local Winchester area).
Slow systems?
If your computer is not what it used to be in terms of speed and usability, it isn't always down to the age of your computer. We can help revitalise and renew your systems. Slowdown could be caused by virus or malware infections, faulting software or hard disk clutter and problems. We may recommend your computer is serviced and possibly upgraded to maximise performance but will always give you the most cost effective way forward.

Virus & Malware removal
Windows reinstallation or Upgrade
Unfortunately, computer viruses and malicious software designed to infiltrate your machine are still quite prominent problems for computer users today. If you do come unstuck and find your machine has been infected and compromised, help is at hand. A.J.Computers offer a set price virus and malware removal service so there is no danger of escalating costs.
We will find and remove any problems and provide a report on the infections found. Furthermore we ensure your system has all important Windows updates installed and advise on any security software that maybe required to better protect your computer.

Sometimes it just isn't practical to attempt to repair a faulty Windows installation. If this is the case we can reinstall Windows using either the discs that came with the machine, or the built-in recovery partition (if available). We will install Windows and all required system drivers and relevant updates. Reinstalling the operating system also gives you the chance to start again with a fresh, clean installation of Windows.
To do this work we will need a valid installation files or C.D's/DVD's, plus required license keys for any software you need reinstalling.

Data retrieval service
It is inevitable that hard drives will eventually fail and computers will breakdown and refuse to start. If you find yourself caught without a backup of your data when this happens, you may want to take advantage of our data retrieval service. We will safely remove the hard drive from your failed computer, laptop or netbook, and attempt to retrieve your valuable data, either on to DVD or to an external hard drive. Occasionly we find that a hard drive has failed or been damaged beyond recovery using normal manual methods.
If this is the case we will provide a quotation to either recover what we can using specialist tools, or for the hard drive to be sent to a data retrieval laboratory where it can be rebuilt in a sealed environment and your data recovered.
